my experience with TPR has, on the whole, been very positive and fore filling, i would highly recommend this method to anyone.

  2. I think you will use TPR for mathematics, music, biology...etc in primary education.TPR is a interesting for student because they will learn by doing. And I think it is very useful for math.

  3. You could use this method in primary schools by playing the game Simon says. This enables the children to do what you say whilst keeping them interactive and engaged. In my experience i have not used TPR before but i can see how it can be useful.

  4. Thats a really good idea jade! heads, shoulders knees and toes would be a good example of TPR.
I have seen TPR being used in our Dutch class and in my opinion it did not work for me...i did not find it engaging enough to keep my concentration. But however, when we did TPR in the workshop i found it really interesting. I think it would work better with younger children as the movements and actions would appeal to them more

  5. In primary schools, TPR can be adapted to so many topics in teaching a second language, for younger students I think keeping it active and engaging, would mean not using constant repetition but keeping it relevant for their age.

  6. I agree with Yagmur and Rosie. You can integrate TPR in so many themes and subjects that you only have to think of a theme in a subject you want to use!
